Minor raped after father sold her
JAIPUR: A 15-year-old girl has accused her father of selling to a 45-year-old man in Delhi who allegedly raped her in illegal detention . The girl and her mother approached Sanganer police station on Monday and lodged a case against her father and the Delhi-based man.
The victim belongs to a poor family in Sanganer. Last year, during May 2010, her father Prakash Chandra took her to Delhi on the pretext of meeting a relative . "After taking her to Delhi, the accused sold her to one Nanak Chand (45) and returned to Jaipur. Later when the family members asked the accused about the girl they were told that she went missing in Delhi," circle inspector, Sanganer, Subodh Sharma said.
The girl was forcibly married and Nanak Chand raped her for almost a year.
"A few days back, the girl managed to call up her mother . Later the mother along with other relatives went to Delhi at the address given by the victim and brought her here," Sharma said.
Once the girl was back, her father, apprehending a police case, fled from the house.
The girl was sent for medical examination. A case under sections 363 and 366 of IPC has been registered against the father of the victim while a case under section 376 has been registered against the Delhi-based accused.
Two teams have been sent to Delhi and Bihar to nab the accused. TOI
