2 women arrested for abducting 20-yr-old girl
Police have booked three women after Sunita managed to sneak out of the place where she was kept confined in Ahmedabad before returning to Nagpur with her family members in the third week of November. She approached Ajni police after coming to Nagpur but the police had initially opted to ignore her complaint. Sunita's family had already registered a missing complaint at Ajni police station after she was untraceable.
Based on Sunita's complaint, police have booked Sujata Hathmode (38), Savita and Shobha Dhole (53) for drugging Sunita before taking her to Ahmedabad by train. Sunita was lured by Sujata to come along with her to purchase apparels from Rameshwari. But, she took her to Savita's place in Rameshwari where she was offered water laced with tranquilizing drugs. Police have already arrested Sujata and Shobha for their involvement in the abduction and are now trying to net Savita.
