Minor sold into marriage, escaped and registered case against Parents

A minor girl has registered a case against her parents for selling her as bride. Native of Sirdala police station of Nawada has alleged that she was forcibly married off to Ranjit tewari of Nagdi village of Giridih (Jharkhand) in July 2018. After marriage she realised that she was sold into marriage for 1.5 lakhs. Upon realizing the fact and regular misbehave she fled to Bhabhua where her cousin sister sheltered her for few days later the girl approached the local police.
However, Her parents alleged that the girl had eloped with her boyfriend and  blackmailing her parents for 3 lakhs. Police is investigating the case
