Man booked for human trafficking, 6 girls rescued
MUMBAI: The social service branch of Mumbai Police on Wednesday busted an internationalhuman trafficking and prostitution racket with the arrest of a man who was trying to send six girls abroad for entertaining people on the New Year's eve.
The police received a tip off that a pimp was illegally sending girls to Abu Dhabi for some special performances. The cops immediately rushed to the airport and stopped the girls. "The girls were being sent forcibly. They said that they were being sent by one Sharif Shaikh, who has been held," said assistant commissioner of police Vasant Dhoble. Source
