Jaipur: Jaipur woke up to a high-voltage kidnapping on Tuesday morning when miscreants riding an SUV intercepted a group of college girls travelling in another car near Banskho crossing in Bassi town.
They allegedly abducted one of the girls, who was physically challenged, and the driver of their cab. The police managed to rescue the girl, but the driver could not be traced till reports last came in. Police, however, denied that the accused had kidnapped the girl or the driver. According to police, the girl was physically challenged and was sleeping in the backseat when miscreants looted the Tavera.
Additional commissioner of police of Jaipur Anil Paliwal said, "Sunita has been rescued and Tavera was recovered from the spot. We have dispatched police teams to nab other miscreants and locate the driver of the Tavera."
Locals and the college girls had a different tale to narrate. According to the eyewitnesses, the accused, who were travelling in a Bolero, dragged the college students, including two girls, out of their Tavera on gun-point.

One of the girls, Sunita was allegedly threatened and forced to step inside the car before the accused sped away with the girl towards Tunga hills. Two of their accomplices abducted the car driver Udai Ram in their Bolero and took the Dausa highway.
But, the accused travelling in Tavera ran out of luck when the car got stuck in mud after a short distance.
