Three more minor girls rescued from flesh-trading tribes
Mandsaur (MP), May 16 (PTI) With the rescue of 3 more minor girls from the captivity of Banchda tribe community, the total number rescued girls has gone up to 50 over the past two months, police said today. Police also arrested three women- Mangla (32), Leela (45) and Seema (30)- belonging to the Banchda community in this connection, while their male accomplice, identified as Ramesh Banjara, is absconding, Mandsaur Superintendent of Police (SP), G K Pathak told reporters. According to police, some people belonging to the Banchda community had allegedly kidnapped a number of minor girls from several places to push them into flesh trade.Police launched a campaign following complaints of number of girls missing from the region.
