Nine more girls rescued in Mandsaur district of MP
Bhopal, Apr 16 (PTI) Police today rescued nine more girls from the captivity of a gang that allegedly kidnaps young girls and sells them to members of Banchda tribe, engaged in flesh trade, in Mandsaur district. Eight persons were arrested, police said. Mandsaur Superintendent of Police, G K Pathak, has launched a campaign against this flesh trade racket. A total of 40 girls have been rescued so far in this case, and 48 persons have been arrested. Of the 40 girls, 14 were handed back to the parents. The nine girls were rescued on a tip-off following which police arrested one Sikander. His arrest led police to others. PTI MAS
