Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur : Acting on the complaint lodged by parents of an abducted girl Raghunathpur police on Wednesday rescued the victim girl from the clutches of the abductor and arrested the alleged accused from Tamilnadu.

 

According to police said the alleged accused Devendra Lenka hailing from Erasama area was kidnapped a minor girl from Adhekula village under Raghunathpur police limits last month and the accused had taken the girl to the Tamilnadu where he was working in a factory.

The victim girl’s parents lodged an FIR stating the kidnap incident accusing Devendra for which police rushed to Tamilnadu and successfully rescued the girl and nabbed the accused there and brought them to Raghunathpur on Wednesday and forwarded the accused to court and handed over the girl to her parents after conducting the legal formalities, informed Pdarambida Tripathy , IIC Raghunathpur PS.
